As we grow, we’re looking for dependable and professional Class A CDL drivers to join our team.
Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and safety-driven CDL Class A Company Driver to transport flatbed and dry van loads. Drivers will operate late-model, well-maintained equipment and are expected to conduct thorough inspections and ensure proper load securement at all times. This role requires adherence to all FMCSA, federal, and state regulations, along with full compliance with 4M company policies and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle hauling flatbed and van freight.
· Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections on all equipment.
· Ensure all cargo is properly loaded and secured in compliance with DOT regulations.
· Follow all FMCSA regulations and maintain an up-to-date CDL, medical card, and driver logs.
· Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to 4M’s company uniform standards.
· Utilize company-approved technology (e.g., ELDs, GPS, mobile apps) as instructed for routing, communication, and compliance.
· Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and other drivers as needed.
· Represent 4M with professionalism and respect at all customer locations.
· Remain drug and alcohol-free and comply with random testing policies.
· Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, incidents, or delays promptly.
· Follow all 4M company policies and procedures, including safe driving practices, trip planning, hours-of-service regulations, and customer service expectations.
Qualifications
· Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
· Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience (flatbed experience preferred but not required).
· Must be 23 years of age or older.
· No major moving violations, preventable accidents, or drug/alcohol violations within the past 3 years.
· Must pass DOT physical and drug screen.
· Strong understanding of FMCSA and DOT rules and regulations.
· Ability to lift tarps, chains, and other load securement equipment (for flatbed loads).
· Professional attitude with strong communication and time-management skills.
· Willingness to follow 4M’s core values and safety-first culture.
